ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This hand embellished print started as charcoal drawing from live art model posing at my Sketching Class in Greenwich Village in NY. Result is unique mixed media artwork embellished with acrylic paint. Working with white, black and grays with only red color reflect on energy of Gotham, rock and jazz of NYC, urban struggle and rhythm of metropolis. It gives noir and comic book feel of raw street energy and Subway ridden urban experience.
