This piece was inspired by the electropop hit, "Midnight City", off of the Hurry Up, We're Dreaming album by M83. The song features bright and bold electronic synths and a drum machine from the 80s. I wanted to capture that mood and aesthetic through this piece.

I am a 32-year-old artist that was born and raised in Sussex County, New Jersey. At the age of 14, I found my love for graphic art and began creating album artwork, logos, and shirt designs for local bands. As the years progressed, I continued to work with larger and larger bands while running my own clothing company. I am incredibly passionate about music and it has always inspired my artwork. As I matured over the years, I began to find that I was enamored by minimalism and abstract art. Many of my pieces are heavily inspired by my favorite songs and albums that I listen to whilst creating. I try to take the mood of a song and represent it through colors and shapes.
