ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work is from my drypoint portfolio/ series that I did recently. The most interesting thing about it is that Drypoint allows you to draw freely on acrylic sheet that is other than paper . You engrave the surface with forced lines . In this work I added coloured cutouts to the black and white printed impressions by using the technique of Chine Colle resulting in a super visual composition. My forms are bizarre and bold due to my ongoing research and practice in abstract expressionism for the last 25 years. The paper and ink used is of high quality .
