About The Artwork

Picture: One-of-the-Kind signed by Kay Uwe Rott Info: The listed purchase price of the original is a cost estimate. I can tell the exact cost when I know how big the picture should be, with or without frame, on canvas, acrylic glass or aluminum dibond, tax, shipping, etc. About this picture: "Silent Reverie" is a captivating black and white digital composition paying homage to the era of silent movies. The silhouette of Charlie Chaplin, an icon of silent cinema, is paired with the elegant Lady Leila, a fictional character, creating a timeless scene that resonates with the enchantment of a bygone era. Interpretation: "Silent Reverie" invites viewers into the world of silent movies, where storytelling relied on visual expression and the art of pantomime. The presence of Charlie Chaplin symbolizes the golden age of silent cinema, known for its humor, charm, and universal appeal. Lady Leila, a fictional muse, represents the allure and grace associated with the leading ladies of silent films. Her silhouette stands as a timeless embodiment of the elegance and mystery that captivated audiences during this cinematic era. The black and white color scheme enhances the vintage aesthetic, evoking the classic and timeless quality of silent films. The absence of color emphasizes the power of visual storytelling and the ability of these cinematic pioneers to convey emotion without spoken words. "Silent Reverie" serves as a tribute to the pioneers of silent cinema, celebrating their ability to communicate universal stories through the power of expression, music, and visual artistry.
