About The Artwork

One of the inhabitants of the sunflower field. One of my favorites, I think he likes to go to the Jazz Club. The color of the sunset is a punch in the eye if put, for example, on a cerulean wall. Everything I like is in his expression, almost disturbed, and in the cigarette smoke still in the air, a sign that until recently he was still reading the newspaper. Then he must have been distracted. I was looking for a character who had lost himself among the fields, bewildered, but calm. A protagonist of the most time-wasters came out. Lost among the fields, he read the newspaper, distracted by anything important. This was the Jazz mood I was looking for, but it came out better. Probably the sunset, whatever it is, still distracts him from what distracted him. Even if he wanders, our protagonist moves among thoughts, and there he looks for the way home.

If you don’t know what it is, it’s Jazz. All art works like this. Every day brings new ideas, and every period distinguishes them. In the works presented here, there are not only mine, but also those of AI. Working with AI is a collaboration, not a work tool. It has its own language, even esoteric, not manifest. Sometimes it seems like scratching your head over hieroglyphs, a symbol lights up, and a door opens. In particular, it is about Text-to-Image Generation, generation of images from a text. To do these works I use implicit, or “abstract”, texts, that is, texts that are not neutral, not imperative, not really descriptive, but evocative, romanticized or even bizarre, more similar to a proverb than to a computer code, based on rhetorical figures, games or linguistic jokes, keywords of the elements to be composed, united by a poetic syntax that can communicate the sensations and the sentiment of the image to be represented, without having to reduce it to a hashtag at the end of the text.
