A while back I had an idea to do a linocut print of one of my most favourite animals, the tiger. But instead of doing their realistic colouring I thought why not turn these wonderful wildcats into a multi-coloured feast for the eyes. And so my wildcat series began and every edition has sold out since. I’ve had many requests to make more tiger prints and so with a few changes I have started a 3rd edition of my tiger edition. This bright tiger is in my favourite summery colours of turquoise and orange. Please be aware that even though I try to keep the colours as true to the real artwork that the settings on your screen can make a difference to the lightness or darkness of the actual artwork. These are handmade and hand pressed (not digital) so you will find textural differences, some embossing and the odd smudge here and there left by my eager if somewhat haphazard way of printing, these can all be easily hidden by good framing. I have used Somerset satin 250gsm paper which makes for a lovely smooth surface perfect for printing with Lino. This is the 3rd Varied Edition of my colourful large Tiger prints and there will be only 25 made. Edition size Limited edition of 25 I have used beautiful 100% cotton Somerset satin 250gsm paper and oil based inks Approximate Dimensions 38 x 57 cm (unframed) / 30 x 40 cm (actual image size) Edition size Limited edition of 25

Years of travel and living abroad are the reasons why Alison’s chosen subjects are so varied. Born in Brazil and nearly two decades living in Italy she sees the world full to the brim with fascinating subjects to portray. Having studied illustration and fashion design and then gaining a BA in Fine Arts, Alison has a wide experience of diverse art methods and styles. But it was a lucky chance encounter with a printmaker that she tried her hand at linocutting and finally knew she had found the perfect process for her and her style of work. Alison’s main priority when creating art is to reach a perfect balance of colour and composition whatever the subject matter. As long as it is pleasing to the eye she feels her work is done. Her linocuts have been exhibited in many group shows including at the Bankside Gallery, OXO Tower and the Royal Academy of Arts. Alison has also been featured in the respected Pressing Matters publication. You can also find her work at the Dorchester Hotel London.
