Sebastian Paul is a 1977 born Berlin sculptor and artist. He works in different materials such as stone, bronze and cement. He lives and works in Berlin Weißensee. Sebastian Paul's figures have something mountainous, piled up about them, which preserves the process of feeling, for example when the stone shows parts that have been left standing or when cuts are made in the sculpture that seem to want to confirm the mass and its movement or even confirm it. It seems (...) as if Sebastian Paul is sinking a plumb line into what he is formulating in the material in order to enter into or remain in connection with a core that is to be sought or rediscovered again and again. In addition, he developed a graphic work ranging from drawings to lithographs and etchings.
