About the Artist

Rossi Aguilar

Spain

Rossi Aguilar (Maracaibo, 1993) is an awarded young artist and researcher that specializes in Contemporary Drawing. She studied at The National Academy of Fine Arts Julio Árraga (Venezuela) since the age of 12, getting her first exhibition at the age of 15. Since then she has not stopped working and experimenting in diverse art fields such as Drawing, Painting, Sculpture and Design. By using chalks, pastels or markers, she discovers and catches the world of the in-between: micro reactions and micro-sensations among human beings that are part of the unconsciousness of society, which remains vivid thanks to the contemporary civilization’s technology and rapid rhythm of life.
Her recognition has given her the opportunity to exhibit in more than 20 countries between collective and individual shows.
Nowadays she lives in Valencia (Spain) dividing her time between artistic creation and her publishing work in Sustainable Drawing through Art and Environment Research Center in The Polytechnic City of Innovation in Valencia (Spain).
