My artistic interests have always focused on old, dilapidated architecture. Looking at historic buildings, I ask myself how many human drama, emotions, loss are associated with them, but also happy, irretrievably gone moments. The structure of old walls is a record of both human history and a physical image of the past time. Abandoned buildings are like silent witnesses of events in the life of generations. In workshop graphics, I am most interested in etched techniques due to the unlimited possibilities of experimenting.
