Manassés Muniz Cavalcante, is from Alagoas, born in the city of São Miguel dos Campos in 1991. From an early age, he attended the serigraphy of his father, José Rubens Pereira Cavalcante, there he learned his first trade. In 2013, he joined the Design course at The Federal University of Alagoas, however, dropped the course after a period of one year. He moved to Belo Horizonte in 2015 to attend the Escola de Belas Artes da Federal University of Minas Gerais. He studied printmaking with artist and teacher Phd. George Gütlich. In the year 2021, he obtained the title of Bachelor of Visual Arts with qualification in Engraving by the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He exhibited in national and international collectives in the cities of São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba and Vila Nova de Cerveira in Portugal.
