This abstract guitar sculpture incorporates blue/white swirled spectrum glass, black/white/blue swirled spectrum glass and iridescent blue Armstrong glass along with iridescent white Armstrong glass throughout the body, up the fret, and wraps around the sides. A true abstract process from the beginning - no plan, no design, just cut and go. White dichroic frit is added on the front and sides to add a rich texture. The spectrum & blue iridescent glass is finished with a blue grout, and the white iridescent glass is finished with a white grout. Guitar ships with hanging hardware pictured. Born and raised in Texas, Amy Voss is a self-taught artist whose medium is glass, focusing her efforts on a particular canvas: the body of an acoustic guitar. With her lifelong love of music, the guitar became a natural fit for her bold and edgy work. Amy describes her process as both therapeutic and energizing. “With each design, I find new ways to incorporate ideas or embellishments that make each piece unique and special.” Her work hangs in the homes of renowned music and sports executives, and musical artists including Katy Perry. Each guitar created is unique and one of a kind.
