About The Artwork

The Gobstopper is a floor or table sculpture that adds light and zing to any room. Bright acid yellow glaze with orange enamel and electric blue glaze accents. The words 'Acid Drop', 'Hallucinator', 'E Numbers', 'Acid House' and 'Gobstopper' are printed and inlayed in bright red glaze towards the top of the Gobstopper. The sculpture has a flat base to prevent any rolling off balance. Made in a Pop Art tradition celebrating the colourful world of sweets and candy. Materials - Earthenware clay with several firings for the yellow glaze and enamel colours.
