1990s-2021 magazines served as a main medium for this piece, mostly fashion ones, but also some other weird and wonderful selections as well. Folding and pleating was the technique of choice, forming flat or triangular 3-d shapes, led to this rich tapestry connected with thread, steel wire, vintage ribbons, lace, fabric strips and cords. All secured on a hand-painted wooden frame, these paper elements offer a glimpse into cultural preferences and historical references, injected with some humour and irony. The artwork is semi-transparent and is supposed to work with the neutral colour of the wall, preferably white. The artwork elements are sprayed with non-gloss acrylic spray for durability. Equipped with hanging wire. Ready to hang.
