This piece is a medallion for wall , a type of stained glass or mosaic with a circular shape whose central theme is inspired by the Virgin of Coromoto , fine art, original, unique art, economic, vitral for wall My pieces are luxurious, handmade by myself. This piece is a stained glass inspired by virgin of coromoto. This is a very beautiful and unique piece because my style is not worked by anyone but me. The main materials are ceramics, glass of color , transparent glass, paint, mirrors and other decorations and details. also a kind of mixture of various materials to which I name putty I chose some of these materials because in the art world they are not very used and others because simply nobody but me uses them for their pieces this is what distinguishes me from other artists who use the same old materials, I think that the materials make my sculptures unique and original and make them stand out from all the others this piece is economical compared to the sculptures of other artists, like sculptures of 12,000 dollars or paintings with high prices of 10,000 dollars and are not made with materials like the ones I use or are as elaborate as my work the mirrors are embedded in small amounts between the glass of de mosaic but also form the crown and the throne of the Virgin .the transparent glass gives the circular shape to the sculpture and the glass of colors form the mosaic , and the piece of the Virgin of Coromoto is sculpted in ceramics if the piece is held against the sun's rays its rays allow to better appreciate the contrast of the colors of the mosaic glasses If you want to maintain this beautiful effect you can do it through a personalized installation that consists of making a small hole in the wall where the sculpture will hang, then install a white light bulb with a switch to turn it on and off whenever you want, then hang the piece , as you can see in the pictures above it will look like a very original lamp This piece is perfect to decorate any space, you can place it on the wall of your room and use it as a night lamp (if the installation is done before mentioned), you can also place it in the living room as a centerpiece or use it for an altar dedicated to the virgin of coromoto in your home. If you wish you can order several pieces to place in each of the rooms of your home. If you are interested in buying more than one piece you can contact me by email: or contact me by whatsapp: +584241686907 This piece was made in Venezuela I invite you to see more sculptures, like is this in my profile. Venezuela
My name is Carmen Benavente Diaz, I am Venezuelan, I was born on September 15, 1968. I grew up in Pedregal, Chacao, state miranda of Venezuela, then I moved during my adolescence to Guarenas, Miranda State. I know how to paint pictures, portraits, sculpting,i am a glazier (profession that is based in cut mirror, and glass by hand), I make ceramic pieces and I know a little bit of sewing and many other things. However my fort is in my well-known ceramic style intervened with mirrors and embedded glass, this also includes my stained glass and mosaics Since I was little I liked art thanks to my father who was a painter, sculptor, draftsman, shoemaker, and other work, and he instilled in me the love for art. I learned to draw seeing how my father did it. Although I knew how to draw , i was insecure, whenever I was assigned to make drawings at school I asked to my dad to do them for me, until one day my father told me: - You must learn to be independent, so you do your drawing. I started crying at the beginning but, thanks to that, I started to make a drawing, and I succeeded, the drawing was very good. From that moment, i do not stop drawing My mother also influenced my art. She painted pottery and from her I learned several techniques. My mother always taught me to work for my things, when I wanted something my mom painted a ceramic doll and told me to raffle it in the town, and so I did until I had the money to buy what I wanted. Over time, I painted the ceramic dolls myself and then sold or raffled them. In my adulthood I was more interested in ceramic painting than drawing. In addition I met several people who worked in stained glass and glass, they also helped to forge my style, I was taught to cut the glass and the mirror. In my adulthood I was more interested in ceramic painting than drawing. In addition I met several people who worked in stained glass and glass, they also helped to forge my style, I was taught to cut the glass and the mirror. At first I did it wrong, they laughed to see me try while they taught me, but I did not give up and I continued practicing, nowadays they congratulate me for how much i was improves and because I even manage to overcome them because I have better pulse, and i cutted forms in the glass and mirrors that few people (maybe nobody but me) can cut.
