This artwork was born as a reflection on violence, destruction, emptiness. Involvement by "physical" in the artist's process of creation (creation which in this case coincides with "destruction"), however, life takes on new meaning out of my control. Each of the rifts caused, rather than open up to nowhere, a glimpse of the next and so on. As with its own autonomy, is the art itself as a reminder that behind every tear there is always a chance to rebuild something that no split is really final and as far as you cancel or destroy something, there will always be something else to destroy and then something else. This (re) discovery has a symbolic meaning: each thoroughly colored surface and subsequently destroyed is like a lost war as unwinnable. The physical approach to the work changes: the disintegration of each layer is now made with accuracy and rigor - the destruction becomes de(con)struction - and it is interesting to note how it was the process itself to influence the creation.
