About The Artwork

This piece was a result of many weeks of work, and meticulously sculpted extraordinary bronze sculpture worthy of an equally extraordinary mollusc. Traditionally a symbol of highly advanced intellect and shapeshifting octopus is remarkable in its abilities and here every element of its soft, unsegmented body has been lovingly, carefully and indeed accurately depicted in bronze. One of the worlds most highly evolved invertebrates has been a source of inspiration for many in the past. I am also utterly fascinated by this creature and was determined to celebrate it accordingly. This piece will be one of a small edition, Each one will still be unique from the next due to the final finishing and casting process.

Currently located in Ireland, I am producing what I believe is my best work yet. Focused primarily on bronze sculpture my latest series of limited edition sculptures have been inspired by coastal living, natural marine beauty and the mythology of Ireland. Originally from Azerbaijan, where I was born and lived until I was 15, during the collapse of the Soviet Union my family migrated to New York City. I spent over 20 years in the USA, studying art and working in the Art Industry.
