Oleksandr Desiatnychuk - Architect and Artist | Ukraine Education: National Academy of Arts, Kyiv (1986–1993) Oleksandr is a contemporary Ukrainian artist whose creative journey is defined by two lifelong passions — architecture and painting. This unique duality has shaped his artistic vision from an early age, influenced first by his father and later deepened through formal education at the National Academy of Arts in Kyiv, where he studied under esteemed professors of both disciplines. For decades, Oleksandr has seamlessly blended these two worlds, allowing architectural precision and artistic sensitivity to inform and elevate one another. His work follows a rich tradition of artist-architects who bridge disciplines — combining design, drawing, painting, and often sculpture — to create deeply expressive, multidimensional work. His architectural practice spans multiple countries, including Ukraine, Italy, EU member states, the UAE, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan. Across these regions, he has led numerous large-scale, successful projects, earning the trust of international clients. Painting, however, remains his emotional and spiritual sanctuary: “All the subtle depths of emotion that help in difficult times, illuminate the darkness, and allow us to enjoy the brightest moments — this is what painting gives me. It has been my companion for decades.” Oleksandr’s artworks are held in private collections across USA, Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, India, Italy, Canada, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Taiwan, and Ukraine.
