About The Artwork
This sculpture/painting is the realization of the QR Code for the words, "Shakespeare & Company", the famous bookstore founded and managed by Sylvia Beach in Paris. The code is realized by use of modeling paste, followed by primer paint, then a coat of Peridot-colored paint. The finish color is reminiscent of the wood-front entrance to the current store in Paris.
