Je suis d’origine espagnole et suis né en Algérie. Ma famille intègre de nombreux sculpteurs bois depuis plusieurs générations qui ont influencé ma démarche artistique. J’ai vécu 5 ans en Italie et je vis actuellement en France à La Rochelle. Je suis inspiré par des peintres comme Soulages, Picasso et des sculpteurs comme Brancusi, Giacometti. Je peins et travaille la terre depuis 30 ans des œuvres personnelles. Tout cela en parallèle à une carrière qui m'a souvent amené à voyager dans le monde entier. Des voyages aux quatre coins du globe, des couleurs, des odeurs, des cultures qui ont nourri la base de ce que je fais aujourd’hui. Depuis deux ans, j’ai découvert la pierre et me suis remis à peindre. Souvent inspiré par le corps des femmes, j'apporte mon éclairage et ma perception sur la dualité intrinsèque à tout être humain. J’adore mélanger peinture et sculpture, quelques pierres sont peintes en partie et mes peintures on souvent des volumes. Je n’ai pas jamais exposé et me présente à vous tel que je suis. I am of Spanish origin and was born in Algeria. My family has incorporated many wood sculptors for several generations who have influenced my artistic approach. I lived in Italy for 5 years and I currently live in France in La Rochelle. I am inspired by painters like Soulages, Picasso and sculptors like Brancusi, Giacometti. I have been painting and working the land for 30 years with personal works. All this in parallel with a career that has often taken me to travel around the world. Trips to the four corners of the globe, colors, smells, cultures that have nourished the basis of what I do today. Two years ago, I discovered stone and started painting again. Often inspired by the body of women, I bring my light and my perception on the duality intrinsic to all human beings. I love to mix painting and sculpture, some stones are partially painted and my paintings often have volumes. I have never exhibited and present myself to you as I am.
