Stephen Kirk is a legendary artist from South Africa, now living in Berlin, Germany. He owned two art galleries including 'Granny Went Mad - Arts For The Senile'. He has created ceramics since 1973. His artworks are primarily inspired by the elements of nature. His studio in South Africa formed part of his self-built home and was located in the jungle on the Wild Coast. The studio was renowned for holding the country's largest oil-fire reduction kilns. In Germany, his home studio setup is now smaller but the fire in his heart burns brighter than ever. This, after also owning and decorating two of Germany's most famous psychedelic nightclubs as well as a number of open air festivals that are still revered to this day.
