ABOUT THE ARTWORK

One of my favorite collections. I take a cut of olive wood and begin my journey with natural pattern. In this inner journey there are images and sensations that lead my hand and something each of the beholders can see and feel in their own way. It is always unique and unrepeatable, because in nature you can not find anything absolutely identical. And even if some style and image passes from work to work you can be sure that you get something inimitable and in a single copy. Coated with a protective eco-friendly wood varnish. Shipped stretched ready to go on the wall out of the box

Anna Nesterova works in mixed techniques, using natural materials and expresses her creative vision in the creation of paintings, installations, sculptures and art objects. Her works are characterized by smooth lines, fluidity of forms and respect for the original natural material. She was born in Ukraine. As a child, she studied at an art school. From 1991 to 1995, she received higher education at the Moscow Textile Academy and the Higher School of Analytical Art and Design of G. Zaitseva in Moscow, specializing in fashion designer. After graduation, Anna left creativity for business. And already when she was 40 years old, she felt the vital need to return to creativity, so as not to completely lose touch with her true nature. Having independently acquired the necessary skills, she began to create jewelry and even developed some original technologies in the use of natural materials. After moving to live in Sicily in 2014, in addition to jewelry, she began to create decorative panels and sculptures, actively including natural materials in her works. Here's what she says about herself: Moving to this wonderful island, where nature is so strong and the energy of the volcano, the mountains , the sea brought back to me the feeling that man is an inseparable part of nature. Its diversity gives me an inexhaustible flow of ideas and power. It was in Sicily that I found my professional handwriting and style. I am filled, inspired and supported by Nature and Beauty. It's such a joy to live here and create! When I see this concentration of beauty in every corner of the Sicilian land, I often have the desire to show it to other people. And when I create my creations from natural materials, I see that it is close and resonates in the souls of many people. I walk a lot and during my walks I collect interesting plants, shells, driftwood, etc. which I then use in my works. A special place in my work is occupied by the cactus sceleton, the extremely beautiful structure of which inspires me to many works. I use it to create paintings, sculptures, installations, and jewelry... I am interested in creating something new, inventing technologies and images that no one has used before. The creation of jewelry also influenced my creativity, I include natural stones, crystals, mother of pearl, etc. in my works. I have developed a unique author's technology of using cactus sceleton in the creation of paintings and jewelry.
