ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Decorating a 3 dimensional canvas of empty space is similar to assembling a jigsaw puzzle. When the piece you're looking for appears in front of your eyes, you know it and recognize it right away. It goes right in. Sometimes it turns out to be the wrong piece. Trimming at the edges of a piece is against the rules that we, as a society, apply to building jigsaw puzzles. Having the freedom to change the puzzle as it is solved or to use a hammer for the ones that are too tight or not quite the right shape is the beautiful thing about being a creator.
