This collection is about the soul's eternity. Each sculpture represents someone's soul and is a way of expressing its endlessness through the afterlife. I sculpt beings we can suppose live in a different way in a different world and over who time has no hold. I chose linen and cotton, fabrics that remind the materials egyptians used to employ in order to preserve their deads and allow them to access Immortality. My work is that of an upholsterer: I use their craft in order to model fabric (linen and white cotton) and give it volume employing various types of needles and linen thread.
