I am a Ukrainian visual artist based in Calgary, specializing in watercolor.
My practice explores the dynamic interaction between the external environment and my internal landscape, reflecting how physical surroundings shape mental states and vice versa.
With over a decade of experience creating designs for apparel and ceramics, I bring a perspective to my work that balances structure with fluidity.
I treat watercolor as a partner in a dialogue; I embrace its unpredictable nature while maintaining areas of precise control. For me, the process of glazing and layering serves as a metaphor for memory—a way to show how the past always shines through the present, even as new layers are added.
