"In my photographic work purity is important as well as simplicity in technique. As far as my landscape series is concerned, I prefer analog photography. Not only because of the deep color rendering of film, but also due to the authentic qualities and the gradual process.
Within this theme I often seek a form of alienation or surreal elements in my subjects. To create an unreal sense of reality, unstaged by using existing light and atmospheric conditions or through the subject and environment itself.

Inspired by pioneers of color documentary like William Eggleston, Steve McCurry, and Harry Gruyaert I started photography. However I also draw many ideas from painting. For example, from the work of Dalí, to see which elements can create an alienating character, or from Impressionists where color plays an important role in everyday scenes.

Besides landscape I also work on documentary and street photography."
