Francesco Quintaliani is an Italian artist and surveyor from Perugia, whose creative journey spans over three decades. His distinctive artistic style fuses bold chromatic expression with meticulous architectural perspective—an unmistakable reflection of both his technical background and deep-rooted passion for visual art.
His work captures iconic cityscapes of Umbria—particularly Perugia and Assisi—as well as other Italian towns, reimagined through vivid palettes and sweeping compositions reminiscent of wide-angle photography. With dynamic geometry, radiant colors, and a profound love for his homeland, Quintaliani’s paintings transform familiar urban scenes into imaginative, emotionally charged visions.
Quintaliani has exhibited widely in Italy, including at the Rocca Paolina (Perugia), the Spoleto Festival, the Corciano August Art Festival, and many other cultural events. He is also a long-time participant of “I Vinarelli” in Torgiano, a unique live painting event involving wine as a medium.
His works—ranging from canvas and glass to intricate mosaics—are found in public and private collections, adorning hotels, restaurants, offices, and civic spaces. Major commissioned works include mosaic installations at the Church of Piccio...
Francesco Quintaliani holds a degree in surveying (Geometra) from Italy, a background that profoundly influences his precise use of perspective and architectural composition. Though self-taught as a painter, he has cultivated a refined artistic vision over more than thirty years of exploration, blending technical drafting skills with expressive color work and a unique Pop Art sensibility.
