EDUCATION
EXHIBITIONS
A global citizen who has lived in 6 countries and who has exhibited in each one, Quinten Sheriff has been dedicated to sharing the arts wherever he finds himself. From teaching in Africa, to creating public murals in Lima, to raising funds and building an arts library for an underprivileged school in Huaraz, he has always been involved in the wider arts community.
Career achievements include being selected as the only foreign artist for a multicultural government exhibition in Lima, Peru, as well as an exhibition in the Sheraton hotel in Tianjin, China. In Canada these include working with ‘Share The Warmth / Partageons l'espoir’, teaching the performing arts, and being interviewed as an artist in exile by Diversité Artistique Montréal for publication in TicArtToc, their magazine. Quinten believes that we can improve people’s lives and social mobility through self-expression and training in the arts.
Working as an arts teacher allowed him to coordinate both solo and group exhibitions in Harare, Zimbabwe; Tianjin, PRC; Chiang Mai, Thailand; Lima, Peru and now in his permanent home of Montreal, Canada.
