Rachel Alice

As an Artist of Congolese Origin with an international background in fashioning documentary photography, my practice investigates the unvarnished realities surrounding the representation of women and hides, protective dynamics of traditional African marriages. In my work I investigate the brutal amnesic; Homes from the domestic space fractured by systemic homophobia and enforced heteronormativity. It honours the profound, mutual sacrifices made by individuals to preserve life, love and safety within traditional African Culture.

My research was focused on Vascular Dementia and schizophrenia patient. Have conduct my research with the two patient. After a very long thoughts in completing my MA Research course work I have decided not to submit my Dissertation to University; for personal reason of my own choices.
