Rachel Dziga is an American artist who works in printmaking mediums; and teaches plein air workshops in both the beautiful Texas hill country and Tuscan countryside of Italy. She received her M.F.A in Florence Italy for Interdisciplinary Art and has exhibited internationally and participated in international artist workshops. As well she has recently been featured in the book: Women Makers of Arkansas; her home state. She strives to find texture, depth and flush out story from her work. Yet, hold on to the lightness of analog art practice. Her plein air work focuses on light, form and compositional play to bring a fresh feel for diverse global locations.
