Rajendra Ray was born in Balasore, Orissa (India). Under the flagship of the creativity of his father Late Satchidananda Ray, an alumni of Shantiniketan, West Bengal, Rajendra started his career in fine art at the Govt college of arts and crafts, Khallikote (Under Utkaluniversity, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India)
