Rasta Khazeni

I am a multidisciplinary artist and interior designer whose work explores architecture, travel, memory, color, and the emotional character of place.

Travel has always been one of my greatest sources of inspiration. I love walking through unfamiliar cities and small towns, observing historic buildings, quiet streets, unusual façades, natural textures, and the everyday details that give a place its identity. Many of my paintings begin with these moments of discovery and the memories they leave behind.

My background in interior architecture and design has strongly influenced the way I approach art. I am naturally drawn to composition, proportion, materiality, texture, and the relationship between color and space. Depending on the subject, my work moves between expressive architectural scenes, figurative pieces, and nature-inspired compositions.

Rather than documenting a place or subject exactly as it appears, I am interested in capturing its atmosphere and emotional impression. I often use layered color, visible brushwork, simplified forms, and expressive details to create work that feels personal, warm, and slightly unexpected.
