I am an intuitive self taught artist. I began my creative process as a child as a self soothing technique. Product of the foster care system, art was my only stability. Art held many positions in my life, my therapist, my best friend, my only friend at times and most importantly my hope. Unfortunately art was put aside as a young adult while I pursued a nursing career and started a family. In 2014 I began revisiting my creative nature. In February 2017 I had to walk away from my nursing career due to health issues and being plagued with 14 total overlapping autoimmune conditions. Essentially homebound now art has come to the rescue to save me once again. I create a wide variety of art from mixed media collages, digital art, drawings, paintings as well as sculptures. To the average individual my art may appear unorganized without any direction because I lack a particular style. This is just who I am as an artist and I wouldn't change it for the world. I do not wish to conform to any particular style, I want to be free in my art endeavours. My art is completely intuitively created without an ounce of premeditated ideation.
