Raysor'g (Fabio Cornaz) was born in 1983, raised, and lives in the Aosta Valley. He has been a professional sculptor and ceramist since 2018.
Self-taught, he feels the call of natural materials and approaches clay modelling.
After a few years he approaches wood sculpture, appreciating its versatility and the possibility of expressing himself more easily with works of significant dimensions.
He recently discovered stone sculpture, especially marble.
Raysor'g draws inspiration from the masters of the past, particularly neoclassical and romantic sculptors.
His creations focus on female figures and their relationship with Mother Nature, and in his representations Raysor'g pursues the "suspension" of women: physical suspension and metaphorical suspension.
Self-taught, Raysor'g attended various professional courses in anatomy and clay, wood, and stone working, in Aosta Valley and in Pietrasanta, Tuscany.
2023. Cross-Border Project: permanent installation of a series of ceramic sculptures at the Little St. Bernard Pass, La Thuile, Aosta Valley, Italy.
2023. Public supply of ceramic amphorae for the celebration of Italy's patron saint festival, "St. Francis," in Assisi, Italy.
2024. Sculpture created on behalf of the Municipality of Aosta, donated to the Italian President of the Republic on the occasion of his visit to the Aosta Valley, Italy.
2025. Winner of a regional competition, wooden sculpture permanently installed at the University of the Aosta Valley, Italy.
