My name is Radosław Dzierzędzki “Rayst”. I am an independent artist, working outside academic frameworks. I have been painting for years, but it was only in 2024 that I began sharing my work more widely.
My artistic style can be described as Modern Cubism. Using geometric forms and a bold color palette, I create compositions that evoke diverse emotions and provoke deeper reflection. Each of my works combines the tradition of Cubism with a modern approach, offering more than just interior decoration - they are stories full of stories waiting to be discovered.
You can find my paintings not only here, but also at Young Art auctions held by auction houses such as Desa Unicum, Xanadu, and Pragaleria.
If one of them stays with you, it will bring a sense of energy and character into your space.
See if contemporary cubism resonates with you too.
I developed my artistic practice outside the traditional Academy of Fine Arts system. My education comes from numerous painting and drawing courses, combined with years of independent study, continuous practice, and artistic experimentation. This self-directed path has allowed me to develop a distinctive and independent artistic voice.
My first solo exhibition took place on May 18, 2024, at the Radiotelewizja café and attracted over a hundred visitors. The exhibition, titled “Colors of the City,” showcased places that had left a lasting impression on me during my travels around the world.
On March 1, 2025, my second exhibition opened at MDK Dorożkarnia, featuring a new series of paintings titled “Urban Stories.” This collection explored the dynamics of city life and the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit, giving everyday scenes a unique artistic perspective. The event proved to be a success both in terms of attendance and sales.
In the fall of 2025, another exhibition took place - this time at the Kofifi café in Warsaw. The show, titled “Between the Lines,” was a special event where painting, poetry, and music came together to create a shared narrative. Zuzanna Dzierzędzka, the author of the poems that inspired my paintings, also encouraged me to compose music to reflect the mood and emotions hidden within both the poetry and the visual art. Together, we invited the audience to explore a space where painting meets music and words open new worlds of imagination.
I've been painting the "Neighbors" series for some time now. Initially, these w...
