Rebecca Fox is a predominantly self-taught sculptor with over twenty-five years of experience in metal sculpture, exclusively crafts abstract sculptures from steel and bronze. Her work, defined by circles and unique patinas, challenge conventional notions of form, balance, and space while exploring the intriguing contradictions between material and form.
At the beginning of her sculpture career, Rebecca explored creating metal sculpture through classes at City College of San Francisco, CA. Rebecca further refined her craft as a welder and metal fabricator at 3D Studios in Oakland, CA.
Her extensive portfolio of work graces over 300 private collections, prominent public institutions, and commercial properties, including Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, Stanford Hospital & Clinics, Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Zscaler, Gravity Tavern, and the Aurelian Marketing Group.
Rebecca's work has been widely exhibited in the Bay Area, gaining recognition in prestigious shows including A Question of Balance at the Museum of Sonoma County in Santa Rosa, CA in 2024 and the de Young Open at the de Young Museum in San Francisco, CA in 2023.
