Rebecca Margarita Reyes Acevedo

Rebecca Reyes is a Mexican artist, art instructor, and certified art and antiques appraiser.

Her work explores themes of spirituality, symbolism, human nature, and the relationship between the material and immaterial worlds. Inspired by medieval art, stained glass, heraldry, textiles, and the techniques of the Old Masters, she creates paintings that combine contemporary expression with historical influences.

In 2023, she was appointed by the State of Nuevo León as a certified appraiser of art and antiques. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including participation in UNESCO’s Turn It Around Cards project, which was presented at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris in 2022.

In 2025, Reyes opened her own painting studio in Barrio Antiguo, Monterrey, where she exhibits her artwork and teaches painting, drawing, and Art History. Through her studio, she seeks to create a cultural space that encourages artistic development, technical excellence, and a deeper appreciation of the visual arts.

She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Arts from the Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM) in 2018 and has over twelve years of experience in drawing and painting.

Throughout her career, she has continued her artistic education through specialized programs and workshops at renowned institutions, including Sotheby’s Institute of Art and the Dutch Atelier of realist art in the Netherlands.
