Reily Niitav

I am Reily Niitav from Estonia and I have been living and working in Finland since 2009. I have always been interested in colours and creative work.

In 2020, I trained in acrylic painting, where I learned various techniques and explored the types of materials that can be combined with acrylic paint. I am curious by nature, which has led me to experiment with using a wide range of mostly recycled materials in my work. All of my work is intuitive and influenced by emotion. But I intentionally don’t talk too much about the emotions I felt while creating the work because I think there is something beautiful about the idea that each of us creates and experiences art through our own eyes and emotions. This is the main reason why I am so drawn to abstract art.
