Renato Palmuti

I am a Fine Artist, Illustrator and Designer here in Brazil. I worked as an Illustrator and Art Director for several years in Advertising and Design agencies. In 2001 I focused my work in Illustration and in 2005 I opened my own studio.
Since them I have been developing personal works based in traditional wet media such as Watercolors, India Ink, Gansa and Acrylics.
My work has two main strands: the landscapes and the human figure. For both there is the studio work and the work I do alive. In the studio I often use photographs from my trips or photographic essays with models but I also leave to draw and paint outdoors as an Urban Sketcher and I paint a lot in life model sessions too.

I attended the Advertising technical High School in São Paulo, and right after I began to study Fine Arts in the Mackenzie University.
My focused efforts to find my artistic lines of work started when I studied for some years with the sculptor Israel Kislansky. And after that I attended the atelier L'oservatorio Figurale where I finally merged the human figure drawing with my watercolor studies.
Now I became a teacher!
