Rhonda Hodge

Rhonda worked for many years in industry as a graphic designer before returning to University to achieve her Bachelor of Creative Art degree majoring in Studio Art. She said it was one of the best decisions she made, as it took her from creating designs under the direction and approval of others to creating her own unique artworks. This gave her an incredible sense of freedom to explore her own style.

She has had the priviledge of studying her craft abroad in Germany and America and has gone on to postgraduate studies in an effort to continually challenge herself. Her artistic journey has taken her to emotionally surprising places and each creative encounter stretches her beyond her previous abilities. She says:

"I will always be looking for that next creative project where I develop something that holds significance to me personally and my hope is that it evokes a deep meaning to the viewer of the artwork".
