Although my subjects are varied my main focus for the past 10 years has been still life paintings.

My still life paintings are born from the appreciation of the play of light on common objects or a scene. Revealing the beauty of simple subjects that are frequently overlooked is a challenge that I enjoy. The inspiration for a still life often rises from the shape of a piece of fruit. It can come from the unexpected pairing of objects, or the humor in a formal arrangement of food.

Many of my paintings are relatively small which makes them more affordable to people wishing to collect art.

Most of my paintings that are for sale are unframed.

The pastels are carefully shipped and covered securely with glassine paper and wedged between sturdy foamcore board.

I have shipped hundreds of paintings successfully.

I am mostly self-taught although I have had many teachers in a non-traditional sense. Formal training has included attendance at the Worcester Art Museum in Massachusetts. Paintings and conceptual photographs have been and continue to be displayed in exhibitions and galleries in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.,
