Poetry: My art

My art is my way of asserting myself after a lot of inhibition and escape from the world. It's a habit I have due to the need I feel to say who I am - it's my mantra and my motivation in life.
I use the blank spaces on the canvas to make my life colorful - the happy, vivid, harmonious and intense colors I use encourage my soul to follow this path too. Art is the key that frees me from the dark prison I was in.
Every art I create works as a message from my subconscious to my conscious. By expressing myself and seeing the result on screen or paper, I understand myself and organize my thoughts. Art is my couch.
With the help of the knowledge I acquired about art, about God and about myself and aided by Divine inspiration, I begin to perceive - or imagine - many meanings in its content. It is my guide, presenting my Self, a book that I write and that explains me about myself when I read it.
Based on this, each work created becomes proof of the state of my soul at that moment, at that stage of life. Thus, the evolution of my art reflects that of my soul. They evolve together. My art is my mirror.
I seek to paint wisdom, balance, healing. By painting, I expose my conflicts and heal myself. Pain led me to art and art freed...
