Matthieu van Riel, Gilze Netherlands. Graduated from the Academy of Arts St. Joost Breda, Cum Laude.

Inspiration for my work comes from many walks along flower- and tulip fields, along the North Sea coast, in polders, heathlands and forests in the Netherlands and rugged mountainous regions in Scandinavia, the Pyrenees and the Alps.
