Riky Van Deursen

For me, painting is more than just applying paint to canvas or paper; it is a process of self-discovery, a journey through life. My art is a reflection of my inner world, my emotions, and my deep connection with nature. I draw inspiration from flowers, trees, organic shapes, and the endless variations of color and texture that nature offers us.

Through vibrant colors and playful abstract compositions, I strive to convey energy and joy. My paintings emerge intuitively—I begin with a color, a shape, or a movement and allow the artwork to develop itself. Layer by layer, I build my canvases, with each brushstroke telling a new story and creating unexpected connections.

My goal is to touch people, to take them into a world full of color, freedom, and spontaneity. I want my art to be a source of inspiration and positivity, an invitation to embrace the beauty and power of creativity.
