Robert Valentine

I pursued a professional career globally as a Hairstylist and have been styling and educating since 1974, from a Creative Director for several high profile salons in Australia and the USA to a salon owner, my techniques and styles have been featured in major press editorials and professional international magazines. By the early 80's I was working with photographers and magazines as a session hairstylist, having my work published in world wide glamour, fashion and hair publications.
As my passion for Photography developed and knowing what I wanted to see in the photograph. I began photographing my own work as I studied from some of the industries excellent photographers. In 2008 I retired my shears for a career behind the lens, now focusing on hair, beauty and fashion photography.

Now, as a photographer, I have the pleasure of working with many talented individuals, from apprentices to highly accomplished hairstylists and salon owners, knowing what they want in their images, producing images for hairstyle magazines and national hairdressing competitions. Also traveling around the world, shooting in locations such as Sydney, London, New York, Miami, Seattle and Phoenix.
