Having lived in and around London for 20+ years, the majority of my professional life has been immersed in photography.
As a retoucher I have had the pleasure of working with photographers, ad agencies and publications from the world over.
But yet behind the scenes of all this, ever since being given a Yashica SLR with wonky viewfinder, somewhere around the age of 12, there has been this drive to document the surrounding world. The pull is towards the man made, or at least man affected landscape. If there are people within the frame they are normally small, belittled by the world around them.

Early influences include Lee Friedlander and William Eggleston, and Martin Parr and Anna Fox were frequent guest lectures during the degree course at Farnham. The multi levelled cityscapes of John Davies have also inspired, with the Agecroft Power Station in aprticular being a game changer.
