Rocio De Los Santos Padron

My name is Rocío De Los Santos, and I am a full-time artist living and working in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

My artistic practice emerges from a deeply rooted spiritual foundation. After years of searching for identity and purpose, I came to understand my sensitivity, vision, and creative ability as gifts entrusted to me. Painting has since become an act of gratitude and devotion, where creation functions as both offering and reflection.

I approach painting as a space of contemplation and inner transformation. Working through prayer and quiet attention, I allow textures, color, and movement to guide the process. My abstract-leaning compositions unfold slowly through layered surfaces and softened palettes, mirroring processes of renewal, healing, and restoration.

Rather than illustrating belief, my work seeks to create an atmosphere—one that invites stillness, reflection, and openness. Through this visual language, I hope to offer viewers a space to encounter beauty, truth, comfort, and love beyond words.
