From an early age, I was drawn to abstract art rooted in the subconscious - work that feels at once familiar and strange, inviting quiet contemplation rather than easy answers.
My practice centres primarily on acrylic painting, often incorporating collage, drawing, and fragments of writing. The process allows me to step outside the noise of contemporary life and enter a state of focused presence. Through intuitive mark-making and layered composition, I explore the tension between order and chaos, control and spontaneity.
Meditation and mindfulness have strongly influenced my practice. Painting provides a space in which I can process thought and emotion, maintaining a sense of internal balance while embracing experimentation without the fear of failure.
I draw inspiration from artists such as Picasso, Pollock, Rauschenberg, and Basquiat, as well as the spirit of Dada. Rather than replicate these influences, I aim to extend their exploratory methods within the context of a digitally saturated and socially fragmented age.
