Rohail Aslam

Im an Artist, Teacher and Published Author. My art has always explored a broad range of subjects and mediums. From Abstract Painting, photography,, pigment/bleach prints and figurative sketches to studies in rotationally symmetrical pattern and 'abstract calligraphic' compositions. I believe there is far too much to enjoy exploring in visual art, to just concentrate one's attention on one medium - one style of composition - one identity. I'm extremely excited about my latest exploration of hand drawn renditions of iconic poster design.

Studied Fashion and Printed Textiles at Liverpool John Moores University.
Worked extensively in the community, teaching Art and Art therapy to disengaged young people. Realised the power in art as a means of expression for eveyone in any situation, regardless of the language they speak or where they're from.
