EDUCATION
Ron was born and raised in Chicago Illinois. Immediately after High School he started a five year intensive fine art program studying drawing and painting under the European taught masters William Mosby and Joseph Vanden Broucke at the American Academy of Art.
Ron moved to Taos, New Mexico in 1970 and became one of the co-founders of the Taos Six Contemporary Southwestern Artists. Recent awards include Best of Show at The Art League of Hilton Head's National Show in 2009 and First Place in "The Nude" a National Exhibition at the Lexington Art League in Lexington Kentucky.
Ron Barsano is currently lives in Arroyo Hondo, New Mexico.
