Ronit Shmaya

I am Ronit Shmaya, a painter, born in 1961, living in Eilat in the south of Israel, near the Red Sea.

I paint in oil on canvas in a figurative style, and sometimes I add an abstract element to my paintings.

I photograph and paint my immediate surroundings.

My paintings express the beauty and the natural world that I see around me.

My formal education is in website design and SEO. Before that, I studied graphic design.

I studied art in several artists’ studios in Israel.

As a child, I participated in art seminars in Israel and Germany.

I am self-taught, and I create my art with great passion.
